Exchange of letters between the Bursar of Jesus College and Mr Asher regarding the rent of Manor Farm. Mr Asher carried out repairs on the premises (inlcuding planting lilies) and is now requesting the amount to be deducted from rent (4th November 1921). The Bursar's answer (11th November) is missing but mentioned in Asher's letter of 16th November, in which he apologizes for having carried out repairs without prior college permission and stresses the low cost (4p; 4s; 4d) and absolute necessity of the refurbishments for the preservation of buildings, hoping that the Bursar will grant the full amount.
