Set of 12 poor rate receipts paid to the Cambridge Union, dating between 22 November 1879 and 20 September 1880. Including three for Sedge Hall (two for 4s 8d and one for 5s 8d); two for Little Manor Street (12s 10d); one for Kings Street (16s 11d); and one for Kings Street and Belmont Place (18s 12d). On the reverse of the receipts are lists of names, likely residents of the properties, including: Mr J. Hawes, Mr J. Pettitt, Mrs M. A. Ivett, Mrs H. Hayell, Mr. C. Storey, Mrs A. Dawkins, Mr P. G. Alderton, Mr Levett and Mrs. J. Lovell.
