Four bills for paper hanging, floor laying in the college from John Swan and Son, Upholsters and Cabinet Makers, 19 Sidney St, Cambridge.
Total payment for the first bill: £7 13s 6d, and includes payment for brown paper, size and preparing walls of Butters pantry, sizing walls and putting up lining paper in Butters bedroom at the Master's Lodge and Mr Westmorland's bedroom and gyp room, preparing and sizing walls and putting up lining paper in Mr King's bedroom and dressing room, no. 3 staircase L. Also includes payment for lining paper, brown paper, tacks, size and nails.
Second bill for work done to the chapel. Total payment of £3 12 5d and includes payment for: laying cocoa matting. Also includes payment for lead and binding.
Third bill for 4 oak elbow chairs made to order for the hall: total payment £6 8s.
Fourth bill for repairing chair in the Combination Room and making four mahogany elbow chair covered in hair seating to make arm chairs: total payment £9 2s 9d.
All dated 26th November 1864 and signed by Green Kempton on behalf of John Swan and Son.
