Roosters Lampshade

Lampshade decorated with the title 'The Roosters, breakfast at lunchtime, hangover Sunday, 12 June 1960'. Signed by, presumably, members of the Roosters and female guests.

Boxed wooden cockerel designed stamp. The box has a picture of a button and the words 'Tender Buttons 143 E.62 St. NYC 10021'. The wooden block has the words '1987 PSX Petaluma, CA'.

Investment Tombstone

Financial 'tombstone' relating to the financing of Hurricane Energy, a listed company that the College owned a significant number of shares in until 2019. The company was associated with James Huddleston and was involved in North Sea oil exploration.

Commemorative Coins (Rustat Dinner)

Presentation coins in individual boxes given to attendees at the end of the Rustat Feast. The coins have the Queen's head on one side and different symbols and wording on the other commemorating: the 80th birthday of The Queen Mother, 4th August 1980; Queen Elizabeth II's silver jubilee, 1977; 25th anniversary of the marriage of Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh, 1947-1972

Blue fabric covered box with bone toggles enclosing two metal and ivory stamps, bars of sealing wax and a packet of Maid Marian matches.

Crested College Plate

Medium plate 22.5cm diameter. Cockerel on globe with College motto in centre in yellow, brown and red. Decorative floral pattern round edge in brown, blue, yellow, green, pink and red. The plate is in a presentation box and was presented to Professor Barry A. K. Rider.

The College commissioned Wedgwood to design and produce a limited edition of crockery for the exclusive use of the College. This was used on High Table and in Hall for many years, but was withdrawn when the sets became depleted. The few plates that remain are now presented on special occasions to honoured recipients.

Three academic squares that came out of the rooms of Peter Glazebrook.

(1) Oxford academic square with gold trim. This belonged to Peter Glazebrook. Made by Shepperd &Woodward, 109/10 High Street, Oxford
(2) Cambridge academic square. Name tag inside 'Beveridge'.Made by A. G. Almond Ltd, Cambridge
(3) Cambridge Academic Square. Made by Ryder and Amies, Cambridge

Base for Benin Bronze

Wooden base made to display the Benin Bronze cockerel which was donated to the College in 1905 by George William Neville. Metal plaque on the front with a Latin inscription, translates as: “Georges William Neville gave to Jesus College this emblem of its founder which he himself had brought back from the ancient city of the Benins in Western Africa captured by the British forces in 1897.”

Hand Printing Equipment Box

Wooden box with handle containing hand printing equipment and gauze screen. Includes ink roller and unidentified menu printed 1972, possibly the last thing made using the equipment.
