Receipt for the payment of £1 8s 6d paid to Messers Favell, Ellis & Sons (plumbers, glaziers, painters and decorator) for repairing pump, new bucket, smith work repairing and altering iron work. 1½ days wages for 1 plumber and man to do fittings and fixings. On behalf of Jesus College by the order of Mr R. Rowe.

Receipt for plumbing work done to the college. Includes cost of laying on water from the Water Company main to all the staircases, buttery and kitchen. Also includes cost of stop and bib taps, iron boxes, lead sinks and flashings, lead pipes, waste pipes and grates. Total cost £81 10s and dated 28th November [? date written over top of another month] 1865.

Receipt for plumbing work done by Favell and Ellis. Items billed include: laying [?] on the water from the front gate to the water closets including all lead pipes; cocks; water meter; plumbers labour and bricklayers in opening the ground and repouring as per estimate; estimate for iron pipes; hydrant from the front gate to the middle of the court.
