College branded pen

Two plaques awarded for the construction of the Quincentenary Library. The first is the Royal Institute of British Architects regional architecture award, 1996; the second is the David Urwin Design Award 1997 sponsored by Cambridge City Council, Cambridge Evening News and Rattee and Kett.

Presentation coins in individual boxes given to attendees at the end of the Rustat Feast. The coins have the Queen's head on one side and different symbols and wording on the other commemorating: the 80th birthday of The Queen Mother, 4th August 1980; Queen Elizabeth II's silver jubilee, 1977; 25th anniversary of the marriage of Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh, 1947-1972

Financial 'tombstone' relating to the financing of Hurricane Energy, a listed company that the College owned a significant number of shares in until 2019. The company was associated with James Huddleston and was involved in North Sea oil exploration.

Black coloured branded reusable cup.

Various items of china for use in College by students and Fellows. They were made around the same date. Gold, black and red stripe pattern round circumference of items except the jugs which are plain white with College crest in red. Includes: large oval serving plate, 41cm long; small oval plate, 26cm long; large round plate, 25.5cm diameter; medium plate, 23cm diameter; small plate, 18cm diameter; oval serving bowl with lid, 28cm long; round serving bowl with lid, 20.5cm diameter; round serving bowl divided into two compartments, 20.5cm diameter; round serving bowl on stand, 18.5cm diameter; round serving plate on stand, 22.5cm diameter; large sauce boat; small sauce boat.

Four deep picture frames containing numerous plaster cast medallions showing classical images, scenes and figures. Each medallion appears to be numbered, the numbers, presumably, once relating to a list. Historic photographs suggest that at one time these hung in the SCR.

College crested globular ashtray with brass top. Further stamp on the bottom of the object suggests that it was marketed by Bacon Brothers, Cambridge est 1805

White china plates with image of College cockerel on globe on edge of plates in gold. Gold line painted round circumference of plates. Large plate with central dimple (cockerel on rim of plate), 30cm diameter; Large plate (cockerel on rim of plate), 27cm diameter; Small plate (cockerel on rim of plate), 16cm diameter. Used only in the Master's Lodge, particularly for official dinners and engagements.

College crested globular ashtray. Further stamp on the bottom of the object suggests that it was marketed by Bacon Brothers, Cambridge est 1805. Belonged to Wilfred Denys Pawson (M.1925)

Medium plate 22.5cm diameter. Cockerel on globe with College motto in centre in yellow, brown and red. Decorative floral pattern round edge in brown, blue, yellow, green, pink and red. The plate is in a presentation box and was presented to Professor Barry A. K. Rider.

The College commissioned Wedgwood to design and produce a limited edition of crockery for the exclusive use of the College. This was used on High Table and in Hall for many years, but was withdrawn when the sets became depleted. The few plates that remain are now presented on special occasions to honoured recipients.

Wooden box with handle containing hand printing equipment and gauze screen. Includes ink roller and unidentified menu printed 1972, possibly the last thing made using the equipment.

Pair college cufflinks - hard gold plate and enamel, Ryder & Amies, Cambridge.

Copper and tin lined jelly mould inscribed with Jesus Coll and mould design number 583. Design on top of mould shows cross with lion, crown and swag imposed on top.

(1) Oxford academic square with gold trim. This belonged to Peter Glazebrook. Made by Shepperd &Woodward, 109/10 High Street, Oxford
(2) Cambridge academic square. Name tag inside 'Beveridge'.Made by A. G. Almond Ltd, Cambridge
(3) Cambridge Academic Square. Made by Ryder and Amies, Cambridge

Three sheets of card onto which are glued 135 replica wax seals depicting seals of various dates, possibly a teaching aid.

Contains cards from library card catalogue.

Silver, with College crest on one side and black and red stripes on the other.

Copper and tin lined jelly mould inscribed with Coll. Jes. Cant and mould design number 359. Design on mould is round with eight pillars topped with cross shapes.

Prize tankard awarded to John D. Katinakis for coming 2nd in 120 yard hurdles.

Seal stamp on wooden handle, possibly used to seal official letters as too small for sealing documents.

Part of the Chapel clock’s winding mechanism called a sun and moon maintainer. Maintaining power allows a clock to keep power supplied to it, whilst the barrel with the driving weight is being wound back up.

Three copper saucepan lids (?) that would have been used in the College kitchens. Each engraved with either Jesus College Cambridge or Jesus College kitchen. Graduated sizes - 15cm, 18.5cm and 19.5cm diameters.

Metal stamp which produced the words 'Jesus College Office Cambridge' and the date. The date is changeable and runs from 1946 to 1953.

William Durran (matriculated 1955) although the blazer probably belonged to his brother [John? M. 1950]. Winter blazer of the Amalgamated Clubs. Black blazer with red cock on red ball over gold crow, and gold letters J.C.A.C. on the breast pocket
