The sum of £10 18s 0d paid to J Goode & Sons for painting done in the Lodge, Staircases and Courts plus Sundries between 30th October 1839 and 5th September 1840, paid on 5 December 1840.
LODGE
30th October 1839 = Jobs to kitchen chimney piece
9th November 1839= Best bedroom: 12 light sashes and frames, 60 ft of bars
9th July 1840 = Entrance gates to lodge, both sides, door in the wall, door to lodge in best Brunswick Green 37 yds
1st August 1840 = Scullery painted over stove 34 yds, 36 ft of skirting, light sash and frames (both sides), Coal bar stool in green, 5 Hearths in white
STAIRCASES
3rd April: Mr Dick's staircases fast painted, grained & varnished 34 yds, Door to room cleaned & varnished 4 yds, 20 squares grained, & varnished, rubbing down. Letter to staircase. 25 ft of skirting. Light sash and frame.
COURTS

5th September= Porter Lodge in 1.5 inch letters, light sash and frame.
Pump in back yard painted 3 times- lead.
