This is a receipt from George Rogers for thatching done at Hundon on the premises of Jesus College by the order of Mr Cuthbert in 1844. The items are as follows:

164 yards on the granary 3d per yard
4 days and half work mending the buildings and labour
12 pounds of ropeyarn 5d per pound
28 bunches of springels (?) 6d per bunch

The total amount billed was £3 15s 9d
