Emson writes "I have sent my son with my cheque for rent due at Michaelmas 1855 with particulars on the other side. I am lame and confined to the house or would have been with you at an earlier date." Signed Robert Emson. Taxes deduced from rent bill, Emson pays the college 46 pounds 12 shillings 1 penny.
