Contains correspondence relating to the replanting of the Grove. Includes letters dated 1903 from Arthur James Mason, Master of Pembroke, concerning his visit to the nurseries of Wood and Ingram at Huntingdon on recommendation of Lynch, the curator of the University Botanic Gardens, in order to view Spanish chestnuts and holm-oaks or ilexes to plant in the corner of the Close "near where the old gate was". The planting of these trees failed and so it was decided to replant the area in 1905; Letters from George Willers, nurseryman, of Trumpington Road, concerning the replanting of the Grove and costs involved with digging holes and trenches for trees, October - November 1905; Letter from William Paul and Son concerning proposals for replanting the grove, 11th April 1908, and a letter to Harry Goodwin concerning the costs of trees suitable for the planting of the Grove including Ailanthus glandulosus, Norway Maple, Plane trees, Ordinary Maple, English oak, White beam, Purple beech, Horse chestnut and ash, 23rd November 1908; Note from Arthur Gray to Harry Goodwin concerning Paul's proposal, 23rd June 1908; Letter from R.
