Room A1 - repair plastering
Room L12 - take out and refix stove
Kirkpatrick's rooms - make and fix a sash forming a double window in sitting room; rehang sashes and fix new beads, and ease door (incl. materials: lime, sash bead, nails)
A, B, E and F staircases - paint round all windows, also hire of bricklayer, labourer, and use of plaster and cement.
Room K1 - new latch on bedroom door; ease casement and fix fastener
Room K3 - prepare a new 4 panel door; alter door jambs; rehang sashes and fix new beads; repair coal bin on the landing; one new casemen and frame in gyp room.
Room K4 - rehang sashes in bedroom and fix new lock to gyp room and fix new fastening on sashes.
Room K5 - rehang sashes and new beads; new casement and frame in gyproom and one on the landing.
Room L6 - rehang sashes and fix new beads and casement frames in bedroom; repair coal bin on landing. Includes parting beads, sash beads, line, lock and latch, sash fastenings, nails, deal, brass butts, glue, wainscots, screws, buckets, men's time.

  • F1 - new stone chimney piece, make good to wall, new sash beads.
  • F2 - repair floor, new beads, new lock to door.
  • F3 - new beads, new stops and sash fasteners; rehang sash and new door etc.
  • F4 - new beads and pulleys, new casements and frames; rehang sashes, stops and lead weights etc.
  • F5 - new beads and pulleys; rehang sashes and mend doors.
  • F6 - new beads and pulleys; rehang sashes, new door and one casement frame on landing. Includes sash beads, run parting, cord, nails, pulleys, sash fastener, lock, deal, floorboards, butts, glue, screw pulley, brass nails, run, oak, brass butts, brass turn-buckles
  • G staircase - similar repairs to those carried out in F staircase, including replacing/repairing beading, sashes, casements, doorframes, pulleys, turn-buckles. Includes materials and men's time.
  • L staircase - similar repairs to those carried out in F and G staircases, including replacing/repairing sashes, beading, casements, door jambs, coal bins, skirting, rehanging doors; preparing and fixing circular molding to gyp room, refixing cupboard in room 11. Fix fastenings on casement, refix lamp, and fix block on floor to stop door. Includes materials and men's time.
  • Similar repairs carried out in A, B, C, D, and E staircases, including materials and men's time. Shutters rehung in B3; new panel door hung in C2; cabin hooks needed to repair window boards and install new casement and frame on landing in C staircase; door jambs altered in E staircase and 3 new panel doors installed.
  • Old floor taken up in E staircase and sound boarding fitted to receive pegging, new floor and skirting fitted, fit out joists and alter water tap in Mr Morgan's gyp room. Includes materials and time.
    Total cost £103 1d. Received and signed off in a different hand by D. Bradwell and Sons.
