Seven pinned pages of receipts for Ironwork by Edward Beales and Co. for work on Master's Lodge, Courts, Estates, Chapel, Rooms and Kitchen totalling £45 18s 11d.
For the Master's Lodge work includes one set of stove bars with fire stones and encaustic tiles; bearing bars; set of stone bars with stones for the Master's Bedroom, iron chimney and fixing to the greenhouse in the Master's Garden; repairing four cocks (taps); repairing stove; repairing casements new stay turnbucks and time.
To the Courts japanned deed boxes for Muniment Room (Archive Room); two other of the above; cleaned, repaired and refixed lock on iron garden gate; handle and catch for garden gate; handle and catch for gate; catch and plate for gate; repairing bell, new string and wire, etc. at Porter's Lodge; handle Porter's Lodge coal hammer; gratings; handle to hammer; pipe and nails, repairing iron gate; new iron grate for urinal including cost of new pattern; repairing bell at Porter's Lodge; repairing fire-guard in Schoolroom; hinges to order for school room piano; deadlock for Grove Gate; repairing and altering bell in Porter's Lodge new cranks, wire and time; new key for gate in grove, fitting key to door of Porter's Lodge.
