The first item is an income tax receipt dated 7 May 1861 from Mr Fielding of Graveley for the sum of £3 13s 3d, for the third quarter of the year 1860-1. Signed by Geo [George] Ford, collector.
The second item is an income tax receipt dated 6 February 1861 from Mr Fielding of Graveley for the sum of £3 13s 3d, for the second quarter of the year 1860-1. Signed by Geo [George] Ford, collector.
The third item is an income tax receipt dated 14 December 1861 from Mr Fielding of Graveley for the sum of £7 16s 5d, for two quarters of the year 1861-2. Signed by Geo [George] Ford, collector.
The fourth item is an invoice from Chas [Charlie] Chamberlain to Mrs Fielding, for charges including mending thatch on the barn, for bunches of studs, and for rope. All totals 11s 6d. Signed as paid by Chamberlain 10 March 1861.
The fifth item is an invoice from James Ellwood to Mr Fielding, detailing that the shelter at Mrs Fielding’s was blown down and has had to be rebuilt, with charges for thatching, repairs, and claying, all totalling £6 5s. Signed as paid by Ellwood.
The sixth item is an invoice from James Ellwood to Mr Fielding for repairs done on the farm, charging for the work as well as for materials. All totals £2 12s 3d. Signed as settled on 12 December 1861 by Ellwood.
The seventh item is a receipt from R. Underwood, ironmonger, to Mr Fielding, with charges for nails, a clasp, and a pail, all totalling 14s 5d. Signed as received 14 December 1861 by R Underwood.
The eighth item is a receipt from the Sun Fire Office for £2 9s 6d, that being one year's premium and duty for the year Michaelmas 1861 to Michaelmas 1862 on the insurance of £900, for the Farm House and Homestead in Graveley. Signed by Henry Hazard and dated 25 December 1861.
