O'Sullivan states that Brooke's English Coins provided the basis for his own chronology but admits that he has not yet familiarised himself with Mr [Michael] Dolley's work on Scandinavian hoards. He expects to have the opportunity to compare notes with MD during the summer promises a more considered reply after that.
