Scope and content

Letter from Robert Jefferson to William Hustler, written from Turnham Green. Says that he was not aware of his brother's debts until his brother told him during the last illness he had before he died. Will pay them as soon as his brother's affairs are in order. Will come to Cambridge to settle the debts personally as well as other elements of the executorship. Was aware of Brett's bill, but not the others so wants to check they are correct. £80 left owing on his brother's fellowship. Mentions that one of his sisters had also died in the last six weeks in the prime of life.
