Scope and content

Letter from Peter Seaby, in manuscript, single page, undated, thanking IS for letting him see the two "York Group" pieces, with further discussion of the "flag" coin. PJS then turns to the cast of the lion coin of Eustace, which seems to come from the same workshop as Mack's coin (M.226g), ex Grantley, purchased in Rome, weighing 20.3 and 20.7 grs with SGs of 11.28 and 10.89 respectively, also noting that the cast from the Bird ex Mabbott and Lawrence coin, weighs 12.9 grains and seems to be the coin from the Andrew Coultee [sic; recto: Coltée] Ducarel collection (1756).
