Letter from Mark Blackburn concerning the editing of two papers of IS, one an article on the Durham mint and the other on the coinage of Offa, particularly in regard to the mounting of the plates in the case of the latter, with reference to help that MB received from Christopher [Blunt] and Philip [Grierson], and he states that he is enclosing photocopies of the plates (no longer attached). In a PS, MB mentions that IS might like a copy of his preliminary listing of the Ashdon hoard, the bulk of which he is hoping to acquire for the Fitzwilliam.
