(a) letter from Marion Archibald, manuscript, dated 26 March 1976, in reply to a letter of IS (see below), thanking IS for his query about the Lincoln hoard and suggesting a type XIII Oswald of Lewes [of Henry I] to illustrate his article because its attribution is more certain than some of the others IS had asked about. She also thanks IS for allowing her to read his paper on the Bournemouth hoard [for NC, 1977] and comments upon the paper.
