Letter from H. A. Woodham to William French, written from United University Club. Before leaving Cambridge for Christmas he went to Mr. Merry to ask him if French had been able to give him any assistance in his lectures. Mr Venables didn't give any lectures to the questionists on their examination subjects, although Woodham did. Both he and Merry would be hapy to give such lectures if French felt they were needed. French did not return Rundell and Bridges' Bill. He got the Hall fund from Drake. His key is in Mr. Dickes' possession. If his dividend at next Audit is £50 or thereabouts, he would be much obliged if it could be paid into his account at Mortlock's bank. 1 item paper. Date is rough and based on the mention of Thomas Dickes (who died in January 1845). Also with note relating to money owed to Woodham.
