Letter from Chris Wren, sent c/o Martin Allen, in typescript, six pages on six folios (recto only), dated 26 June 1992, with attachments; in the letter, CW explains to IS that his interests focus on the coinage of Canterbury from Henry II to Edward III, broadly describes the nature of his collection in this area, and then goes on to delineate what he believes to be his discoveries concerning the coinage of class Vai, class Vc, class V/VI imitation, class VIx, class VIcii, class VId, class VIIIbii. He also expresses his willingness to cooperate with IS in various ways and mentions the enclosure. The attachment consists in two typescript listings of CW's short-cross coins, identified as "basic list 1" and "basic list 2", 11 and 7 pages, respectively, on 18 folios (recto only), originally stapled together, dated 17 June 1992; for each specimen, the listings gives a reference number, class, reverse inscription, pedigree and notes.
