Letter from Peter Berghaus, manuscript, accepting an invitation from IS for 21 May and discussing material that he collected on the so-called LONDE CIVITAS coinage. He mentions a further example of the coinage in Copenhagen from the Ribe hoard and explains his failure to publish his work on the coinage as a result of being too lazy to write in a foreign language; Michael Dolley had insisted that he publish his work in either the NC or BNJ [in English], since so much of the material was from the BM.
