Contains minutes: first for the Theological Society from its foundation on 29 October 1900 to 27 Nov. 1905; also for three meetings of the Jesus College Essay Club, from its foundation on 29 Jan. 1906, with a fourth relabelled as the 37th meeting of the Theological Society. A 38th meeting concludes the volume. At the front is a list of speakers at each meeting, which shows that they were regarded as a single sequence. One printed lecture by J. Ellis McTaggart was pasted in at p. 48; a Chapel service list for Michaelmas Term 1913 and two letters from speakers were found loose in the volume.

Contains list of members, fines, books bought and proceeds of auctions. The title page states that the club was founded in 1957 by Professor Glanville Llewellyn Williams; it was wound up in 2004.
Record book of the club, founded 'for the drinking of beer' in April 1921. A list of rules from that time is followed by minutes of meetings from 28 April 1921 onwards. They end with the 104th meeting, and financial accounts follow, ending with those for Easter term 1929. At the back is a list of names (and in some cases addresses) of honorary members.
