Work to the college: building a new water closet, fixing new roof to the Wood house yard, mending doors, mending floor of passage to Fellow's Garden and floor of hall, installing ventilating shades, building a linen cupboard, fixing skirting, take up Hall floor and wainscot for gas fitters, make a model for a stove, fixing a new casement, mending coal bin, repairing the Cornice gutter in the cloisters, fitting cupboards in gyp rooms in I and F staircases, mending door in staircase no. 8 and 4, laying a new floor in the Stewards Hall and mend floor and table. Work to the courts: repairing the fence next to and in the paddock, make good the fence to the wood house yard, mend a door in the loft, work to the young men's, servants, fellows and porters water closets, mend pump casing, mend fence next to the Common and lay a new plate to the out place. Work to the kitchens: mend plate rack and knife board, ease doors, mend dresser, fit drawers and fix a shelf. Work to the Chapel: fix stud work in front of arch and choir to fix canvases, make a temporary screen, make curtains, making cloth to cover the organ, assist paper hangers and make and fit a pair of folding doors. Bill also includes cost of deal, bolts, nails, buttons, sock, glue, bolts, screws, butts, knobs, tar, tenter hooks, birch, iron brackets and calico. Paid £12 18s for work done in the Master's Lodge including payments for carpenters work to building of coal house and altering the Master's old coach house into a stove room and harness house and fitting up the same, nails, list of sizes of wood used, a pair of 14 inch T joints and screws, new wood stock lock, thumb latch, deal, ash, oak, old oak, 55ft of reduced brickwork the difference in excess between erecting of the fence walls as first intended and building up the end of new coal house.

The total bill amounted to £81 16s 9 3/4d, and a receipt signed by 'Mr.s Smith' is attached to the bill with wax.
