"The Durham mint in the fifteenth century", [by] Martin Allen, typescript, twelve pages on twelve folios (recto only), undated but datable to 28 January 1997, when Martin Allen read the paper at a meeting of the British Numismatic Society. The paper begins with a summary of the contributions of three antiquarian scholars: Mark Noble (fl. 1780), originally of Birmingham; William Hylton Dyer Longstaffe (fl. 1863-1867); Canon J. T. Fowler (fl. 1912). The paper then summarises more recent research on the Durham mint in the fifteenth century.
