Bill and receipt to Jesus College from J. Goode & Son for painting work done from 1847 to 1848 in Chapel, Lodge, Staircases, Buttery, Estates and Sundry other places amounting to £16 3s 2d. Bill lists various paints and labour costs. Upon full amount of payment receipt signed by J. W. Goode for J. Goode & Son

Lodge:
Painted hearths, window seats, door, pump, large screen in kitchen, chimney piece.
Chapel: painted lattices of Tower
Courts: painted sashes, arch of the Great Court, arches of Cloisters, post "pricked in motto written and gilt", door to hall, 126 foot of spikes, front of carriage gates to lodge, front of building in Fellows Garden its sashes and sills, Lodge garden sashes casement frames and bars [painted, presumably?] of the lodge kitchen.
