Work includes journey with the bursar to Graveley and Tempsford (Temsford) to look at the college estates, horse hire for two days (not getting home until the Sunday morning and expenses paid), paid for search at the Pembertons Office for the quantities from the Graveley ward, 1 day employed in making out valuations in the office, 1 day journey to Harston to value the Rectory Estate, horse hire and man for opening the gates, to making a fair plan on parchment of the gravely property, 1/2 day searching amongst papers for the disputed point with the Bullen of Barnwell which I found.
Watford, AlexanderPaid £10 19s for a day self employed in making the survey of Gravel Pit Closes for the Master, chain leader and expenses, one day employed in making and finishing up plan on large scale, a days attendance at the Lodge and drawing out the plan and taking up the boundaries of the parishes. All done on instruction by Mr. Hustler. Note at the end reads 'general account 1st bill for looking at property with Mr. Hustler which it was thought might be eligible for the College to purchase'.

Notes 2 days Watford and clerk employed in taking up the subdivisions of Mr Bullens Teasehold and ascertaining the quantities of Watford's inclosure plan of Barnell and laying down the fences and furnishing up the subdivision on the Masters plan of 3 chairs to the inch. Also 1 day of Watford and clerk attending on the Master to recieve instructions relating to the measurement of the ground near the Greyhound and the proposed exchange with Parker's Piece in front of Professor Lee's houses adjusting the line and submitting the same to the Master. May 21st: referring to plan from the original scheme and unstaking the line (?) & Clark. Total of £10 10s.
