Receipt from the Gas Company for maintenance. Includes cost of screws, washers, comp pipe and comp tube, lamp cocks, burners, cap lining, connexions, iron pipe, bends, iron, tees, copper pipes, middle joints. Also includes time cleaning out fittings; taking up old pipe; cleaning out connexions, pipes and siphons; time taking down, cleaning out and enlarging pipes on the right hand side of the Hall; refitting pipe to Hall light and cleaning out burners; repairing fittings, stopping escapes and easing taps. Total £6 10s 7d. Dated 3rd February 1865 and signed by Charles Bullock for the gas company.
