Mainly comprises correspondence with Paul Schlipp (editor, Library of Living Philosophers) and Eugene Freeman (Open Court Publishing Company) on: Bronowski agreeing to write 'Humanism and the Growth of Knowledge' for a volume on 'The Philosophy of Karl Popper', instructions to contributors, corrections and proofs, the publication of the volume, and ordering reprints of Bronowski's essay and copies of the whole volume.

Includes a list of Karl Popper's publications, a list of contributors, a typescript of Bronowski's essay (1967) with a few corrections noted, draft footnotes for the article, and copies of proofs sent to Bronowski for checking.

Also includes letters to Karl Popper, Morton White (Department of Philosophy, Harvard University), Alfred Tarski (Math Department, University of California at Berkeley), Jerzy Neyman (Department of Statistics, University of California at Berkeley), Majorie Grene (Department of Philosophy, University of California at Davis), and Henryk Skolimowski (University of Southern California, School of Philosophy) on sending them copies of Bronowski's essay 'Humanism and the Growth of Knowledge'.
