Receipt for various repairs and building works carried out around college between October 1874 and June 1875 by Walter Flack (Snr), plumber glazier and painter, formerly of 6 Silver Street, now at 26 St Andrews Street. Total cost 63 13s 6d. Works include:

  • Knotting, priming and painting casements (D staircase)
  • Painting plate twice and writing on 'Porters Lodge'
  • Repairing hand glasses
  • Knotting and priming new work to the gates leading to the grove, and painting and varnishing gates
  • Knotting, priming, and painting new sash and lattice work for windows all around college (including new building, cloisters, and Chimney)
  • Cleaning down, knotting, and painting sashes and bars at the windows of the new building
  • Cleaning down and painting pipes, casements, ladders, lamps, iron fences, gate from new building to Fellows' Garden,
  • Puttying and painting window casements
  • Burning off paint, repainting, and varnishing door to Master's Garden, kitchen door, and door to the Fellows' Garden
  • Washing and whitening ceiling and masking, plastering, and distempering walls in the Porters' Lodge and the Fellows' WC in garden
  • Cleaning and painting door and window frames in the Cricket Room and Fellows' closets
  • Cleaning down, puttying, and painting sky lights over both the Young Men's WCs, and washing and whitening the walls
