Johnson (Shell Development Company, Emeryville, California) presented at the Norman Bauer Memorial Symposium AAAS meeting in New York City, 27 Dec 1967 (annotated "J Bronowski 1968"); occasional papers on 'Technology and Human Values' and 'The University in America' published by the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions; a pre-publication typescript of 'Sense-Giving and Sense-Reading: of Language' by Michael Polanyi sent "with the compliments of the author"; a draft of 'The Productivity of Research Scientists' by Derek de Solla Price (Yale University) for inclusion in Britannica Yearbook of Science and the Future, 1974; a typescript of 'Can life exist inside Neutron Stars?' by Jean Schneider (Groupe d'Astrophysique Relativiste, Observatoire de Meudon, France) submitted to Nature (journal) 10 Jul 1975; and a typescript of 'Science, Ethics and Survival: Mankind up against the wall' by G. Salzman (Physics department, University of Massachusetts) which was a talk given at a "teach-in" organised by the Student Mobilisation Committee of the University of Massachusetts (15 Oct 1969).
