Consists of carbon copies of letters sent by Bronowski, Sylvia Fitzgerald (Editorial Associate to Bronowski and Secretary for Science Horizons Inc.) and Kathleen Verlander (Secretary to Bronowski).

Subjects include: a joint meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnologia on 'Science and Man in the Americas' (Mexico City, June-July 1973) which Bronowski was due to give a lecture at and show a film from 'The Ascent of Man'; work on 'The Ascent of Man' book; the Renaissance symposium jointly sponsored by the Salk Institute and the University of California at San Diego (May); invitations for speaking engagements; discussion of [Noam] Chomsky's work on grammatical structure (letter to Nobuaki Kozaki, Japan); discussion of evolution (letter to Calvin Fuller, Florida); a proposed 1 hour long BBC television programme about the Salk Institute; arrangements for showing 'The Ascent of Man' films at the National Academy of Sciences and the Smithsonian Institution during the Copernicus symposium (Washington D C, Apr 1973); and books to purchase for the Szilard collection at the Salk Institute.

Also includes photocopies of handwritten letters from Bronowski to Gerry [Piel, 'Scientific American'] about an article by Charles Brainerd, and to Tony Kingsford [BBC] about ['The Ascent of Man' book].
