Consists of carbon copies of letters sent by Bronowski, Sylvia Fitzgerald (Editorial Associate to Bronowski and Secretary for Science Horizons Inc.) and Lee Lacy (Assistant Secretary to Bronowski).

Subjects include: plans for archives at the Salk Institute; research and filming for 'The Ascent of Man'; publications by Bronowski; and Renaissance symposia jointly sponsored by the Salk Institute and the University of California at San Diego.

Also includes photocopies of handwritten letters by Bronowski to: Wilfrid Le Gros Clark (Department of Human Anatomy, University of Oxford); [Niko] Tinbergen (Oxford); Christoph Brozek (Center for Urban Studies, Wayne State University, Michigan); [Theodosius] Dobzhansky (Rockefeller University, New York); Andrew Robertson (about a draft account of the development of smokeless fuels at the National Coal Board); C H Rolph (Bronowski agreeing to write a letter about "Kingsley"); Jane Allen (Rockefeller Foundation) giving his opinion of a proposal by Donald Michie; Donald [McCullough] on Bronowski's recollections of appearing on the 'Brains Trust' together; and Carey McWilliams.

Additionally includes a photocopy of a National Science Foundation rating sheet filled in by Bronowski about a proposal for a programme to explore 'Computer Simulation of Human Semantic Memory and Cognition'.
