Shallow and Colemen was a firm of ironmongers and iron merchants active in Cambridge between 1839 and 1875. The business was owned by Thomas Shallow (1798-1876), an ironmonger and whitesmith who lived at 49 Sidney Street. According to 'Capturing Cambridge', some iron bollards produced by the firm still line the Backs in Queens' Road.

Bill for ironwork to students' rooms, from Shallow and Coleman. Total payment of £1 6s 6d, and includes payment for: work to stove in Duncan's room; double back fixed in Corfield's room; square to partition, cleaning two locks, new pair of knobs and spindle, cap stables, brass head screws, all for Swainson's room; back to stove in Mayland's room; latch in Corfe's room. Received the 28th November 1865 and signed by Thomas Shallow.
