Receipt from Henry Hugh Hoare to the Reverend Dr French dated 9 Jan 1830, from London: £233 6s 3d sold for the Masters and Scholars of Jesus College Cambridge.

Notes that the produce of the above is placed to account of the college on which is charged:
£107 8s 6d paid to MEP Boureriel(?) for W. Broughan(?)
£107 1s 10d paid to Mr Tancred Esq.
£106 15s paid to Mr J Aldy Esq.
£5 paid to the Eldon Testamonial in the college's name and the bank will pay W Greenwood's £109 12s 8d on application.

Postscript: The bank urges that the college should inform them on whether the sale of cards(?) is to be deducted from the sum of £9530 5s 6d in the precise sum of £777 18s 8d.
