Comprises correspondence relating to the establishment, aims and activities of the Foundation. Subjects include a planned publication and symposium, asking Bronowski to have a role in the Foundation, a meeting at Rockefeller University New York, an advisory committee set up in New York (of which Bronowski was a member), criticisms of the running of the advisory board and working committee in New York, and a breakdown of relations between the Foundation in Israel and group in New York.

Correspondents include Professor Douglas M Knight, Professor Daniel A Greenberg, Hanna Loewy [Kahler], Polly van Leer, Professor Erich Kahler, Alice Kahler and Professor Aharon Katchalsky.

Also contains a prospectus for the planned symposium on 'Human Concerns in the Light of the Sciences', a report on a working committee meeting, a memorandum of association for the Foundation, and a list of members of the ad hoc advisory committee.
