Comprises correspondence with Time-Life Films on subjects including: plans for the promotion of 'The Ascent of Man' films in the United States including plans to show excerpts at a Copernicus Symposium at the Smithsonian (Washington D C); sales and rentals of 'The Ascent of Man' films; Bronowski sending copies of promotional material such as articles, the introduction for a BBC brochure, quotations (included) and edited extracts of Bronowski's remarks at a meeting in New York [included as "Dr Bronowski talks about The Ascent of Man"].

Also includes material given to Adrian Malone (BBC) in 1972: copies of thank you letters to Bronowski for giving the Conrad memorial lectures in Oregon (1967) and for recording 'A Happy New Year from Dr Bronowski' (1967), a copy of a letter inviting Bronowski to become a member of the National Book Committee (United States) and a list of A W Mellon lecturers in the Fine Arts.
