Note
Undated but marked c.1914 on Freda Jones' original labelling. However, an estimated date of 1922 has been used as it is similar to a plan (JCAD/3/CAM/JESL/9/2/1922/3) which was rolled up with a specification of works dated 1922.
In 1912 Marshalls relocated to this site when they expanded their trade to include selling cars. During the war the garages were used for servicing and repairing vehicles required for the war effort. In 1920 formal contracts were signed resulting in Marshalls being awarded the Distributorship for Austin in Cambridgeshire.
Mrs Emery surrendered the lease of Little Trinity. So the site plan dates from between 1912-1926
