Consists of black and white photographs of: Daniel Lehrman lecturing (about ring-doves) at the Salk Institute, Feb 1967 [used in 'The Ascent of Man' book]; ring--doves (5 photos); aerial views of the Salk Institute, showing the original temporary buildings in the foreground (2 photos); Leo Szilard lecturing at the Salk Institute (Feb 1964); Bronowski and Rita Bronowski in their home in La Jolla looking at a cast of the Taung child skull (1974); portraits of Bronowski [1971] (2 photographs); and a painted portrait of Bronowski by Terry Durham.

Also includes a colour slide of a wall in the Alhambra.

Some photographs are labelled "Photograph by: D. K. Miller/The Salk Institute".
