A photocopy of a diary written by Andrew Hunter in 1954 during a trip to Henley from the Kent School, Connecticut. The front page of the diary reads :

Transcript

This is a diary of a trip I took as a member of the 1953 Kent School Henley Crew to England. Parts of this diary are not in my own words; such sections were written by Hans Kalinke '54 and appeared in the KENT NEWS in the fall on 1954. These sections are recognized by quotation marks and have the initles [sic] H.S.K. following. The trip was taken during my fifth form year when I was 17 years old.

Percy,
My memories of this trip are very dear and are a highlight in my life. Rather than write you an emotional epistle, perhaps this diary will bring you some delight and fond memories of the 1953 Kent Henley trip as expressed in this document.
Best personal regards - Kent Crews of the future will miss knowing you.
