Copies from minutes of the meetings of the commissioners for the paving, cleansing and lighting the Town of Cambridge, 1823 - 1828. Lists names of those present at the meeting (mainly heads of houses) and notes relate mainly to work that would effect Jesus College and Jesus owned property including work to be done on Jesus ditch. Also notes relating to a drain that would have to be put through Clarke's garden which backs onto Garlic Fair. A drain also to be carried across Butt Green and Midsummer Common; amounts of money the University should contribute towards the improvements across the town.
