Correspondents are: Gannon College (Pennsylvania) inviting Bronowski to take part in a symposium on contemporary man to dedicate a new science and classroom centre (1970); Library of Gorham State College (Maine) inviting Bronowski to lecture as his book 'Science and Human Values' was to be read widely at the College (1967); Governors State University (Illinois) asking Bronowski to consult on a selection of readings for a course on 'Science, Technology and the Quality of Life' (1972); Hampshire College (Massachusetts) asking Bronowski for advice on participants for a symposium on Undergraduate Studies in Environmental Sciences to be held at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) annual meeting (Boston, 1969); Harvard Medical School inviting Bronowski to speak at the Student-Faculty Committee (1963) and to write a review essay on 'The Art of the Soluble' by P B Medawar for 'Social Science & Medicine' journal; Heidelberg College (Ohio) inviting Bronowski to participate in summer Institutes on Ancient and Modern Studies (1972-1974); Hofstra University (Long Island, New York) inviting Bronowski to a give a seminar on mathematics (1969); University of Houston (Texas) asking Bronowski to participate in a panel discussion for a series of discussions on 'Technology: Nuts and Bolts or Social Progress?' to be held at AAAS meetings in Chicago (1970); Hoover High School Parent Teacher Association (San Diego) inviting Bronowski to speak on 'Science and the Humanities' at one of their meetings (1965); The John Hopkins University (Maryland) inviting Bronowski to take part in a panel discussion on 'Science, Society and Public Health' (1966) for the School of Hygiene and Public Health, and to give a talk at the Applied Physics Laboratory (1969); and Howard University (Washington) Psychology Department inviting Bronowski to take part in a symposium on 'Value' at the annual convention of the American Psychological Association in San Francisco (1968).
