(1) Letter from J. Carter Jonas & Sons (dated 17th October 1934) informing the College that they had received an application from Mr Jacklin for the house at a rent of £40 per annum subject to the College converting the top back bedroom into a bathroom at a cost of £25 10s 0d, providing a new sink in the scullery and allowing the tenant £15 towards internal decorations. Mr Jacklin was employed by the Eastern Counties Omnibus Company and he proposed to have one or two boarders "of the Bank Clerk type"
(2) Letter from J. Carter Jonas & Sons (dated 22nd October 1934) informing the College that they had received references and thought he would make a "satisfactory tenant"
