Carbon copy of a letter from Ian Stewart to Terence Volk, in typescript, single page, dated 12 March 1980, as cover for copies of the latest versions of his own paper and that of Michael Dolley. IS says that his paper is complete is complete apart from a few adjustments to his list of illustrations. He says that he agreed with Dolley that he should illustrate his paper mostly with reproductions of engravings from Ruding, providing a list of the figures, with one further illustration to be taken from BMC, to be inserted in the printed text where appropriate.
