Copy of a letter from W. J. W. Potter to Herbert Schneider, typescript, two pages on two folios (recto only), dated 31 March 1962, thanking HS for his letter and comments but wishing to learn his views on several points. He first discusses the undated Mary sovereign, arguing that it is genuine, and doubts that a certain "T.T." has expressed about the Elizabeth sovereigns. He then moves on to the second coinage of Edward VI, on which he focuses much of his letter, discussing the gold coins with uncrowned busts and SCVTVM DEI on the obverses, the mint-marks and the bullion figures.
