Letter from W. J. W. Potter, in typescript, two pages on two folios (recto only), dated 14 June 1965, expressing disappointment with IS's contribution to the Numismatic Chronicle. WJWP observes that IS's objections to his own figures and methods are not supported by anything that invalidates them and then draws attention to specific points in IS's paper where he believes that the argument breaks down. There is a PS, in manuscript, in which WJWP explains why his overhaul of the Lawrence classification scheme was less than complete.
