Letter from the Bishop of Ely to William French, written from Dover Street. Gives his consent for the election of fellowships to take place as proposed by French. Grateful for his and Mrs. French's enquiries into Mrs. Allen who travelled to London but then caught a cold. She has recovered and is able to make it down in the afternoon to the drawing room.
