Letter from Stewart Lyon, in manuscript, three pages, dated from Gordon [Greater Sydney area?], NSW, 31 May 1992, thanking IS for his note about Alwerd and the "xeroxes" about Peochthun. SL encourages IS to publish the Alwerd note in the Spink Numismatic Circular and comments upon Tom Fort's arguments over the identity of Peochthun and the location of Beorhtric's minting. He makes four specific points about the arguments, followed by more general comments about Tom Fort's writing style and thesis. SL finds the thesis "seriously flawed" and concludes with a few niceties about his family.
