Letter from Stewart Lyon, manuscript, three (plus) pages on three folios (recto but continued for several lines on the verso side of the last page), dated from Temple Court on 7 August 1963, on the utility of postulating "the form in which an Anglo-Saxon weight standard was expressed". What follows is mainly a discussion of the mathematical/statistical procedures that would be involved in doing this. There are manuscripts notes pencilled into the upper left margin that read "Photos slightly enlarged" and "4 Scottish coins included", but there are no longer attachments associated with the letter.
