Scope and content

A letter from Stephen H. Gushée at Trinity Church in Newtown, Connecticut, to Percy, expressing his praise and memories of him at the Henley Regatta in 1953. He attributes all good experiences of the trip to him, and remembers him caring for the Kent shell that bore his father's name. He closes the letter acknowledging that although retiring he won't imagine him to be far removed from the sport.
