Letter from Richard Luce, Minister for the Arts, typescript, single page, dated 22 June 1988, in response to the letter of IS dated 7 June, thanking him for the copy of the submission on the Blunt Coin Collection. Although unable to give any undertaking on the suitability of the collection for acceptance in lieu of tax prior to receiving the recommendation of the Museums and Galleries Commission and the opinions of its expert advisers. He nevertheless assures IS that Heritage Ministers will give the offer full consideration.
